COSMETIC SURGERY

A brief description of the most common cosmetic surgery procedures is given below:
Abdominoplasty (Tummy Tuck):
It is a major surgical procedure where all loose skin and fatty tissue are removed from around the tummy through a large incision extending across the abdomen, usually from hip to hip. The muscles may also be tightened to give a firmer result. This leaves a flatter, lower body profile and younger-looking abdomen.

Rhinoplasty (Nose Re-shaping):
It is a procedure to modify the size and shape of the nose when it is too large or uneven. It is sometimes used to restore its shape after an injury
Blepharoplasty (Upper / Lower Eyelid Surgery):
It is a procedure to remove loose skin and surplus fatty tissue around the eyes. Relaxed muscles in the eyelids are also removed to tighten the skin and leave a flatter and more youthful appearance.
Blepharoplasty can lift drooping upper lids and reduce the puffy bags that form below the eyes.

Rhytidectomy (Face & Neck Lift):
It involves the removal of excess facial skin from the neck, chin and cheek areas thus reducing some of the more visible signs of ageing. As a result your face will appear firmer and fresher.

Otoplasty (Ear Pinning Surgery):
Otoplasty is a procedure used to modify the size and shape of the ears. In most cases is carried out to set prominent ears back closer to the head or to reduce the size of large ears.

Lip Augmentation:
It involves a surgical or non-surgical restructuring of the lips to enhance their appearance.
Anti-wrinkle Treatment By Injection or Laser:
Wrinkles are caused by the skin losing elasticity with age and the long term effects of muscle contractions. Different injection methods or laser treatment can be used to reduce wrinkles and give a smoother youthful complexion.

Laser Hair Reduction:
Intense pulsed light therapy (IPL) and laser therapy are two methods that can achieve permanent hair reduction. During treatment the hair follicles absorb the light and heat up which results in their destruction thus preventing re-growth.

Chin Implant:
If you feel your chin is not in proportion to the rest of your face, an implant can help to build out a recessive chin and improve the appearance of your facial features.

Cheek Implants:
If you feel that your cheekbones are too flat and out of proportion with the rest of the face. A surgical cheek implant can raise the cheekbones and harmonise facial features.

Liposuction:
It is the surgical removal of fat from areas of the body that are resistant to change by exercise. Liposuction is appropriate for disproportionately oversized buttocks, hips, thighs and bellies as well as fat deposits on arms, calves, knees, ankles, above the breasts, and under the chin.

Thigh Lift:
A thigh lift is done to remove excess skin from the thigh and buttock area. The sagging skin is usually caused by weight loss.

Arm Reduction / Lift:
After weight loss the skin around arms often fails to tighten and so it sags. The only way to improve this problem is through an arm lift. Liposuction is not an option since the skin is already loose.
Gynaecomastia Excision (Male Breast Reduction):
Gynaecomastia is an enlargement of male breast. It is fairly common and affects around 45% of the men to varying degrees. For those who feel self-conscious about their appearance it can be treated surgically.

Breast Augmentation (Enlargement):
Breast augmentation or augmentation mammoplasty is a surgical procedure to increase or enhance the size and shape of a female breast.

It is achieved by surgically placing a saline or silicone gel-filled implant in each breast to push the breast tissue forward.

Breast Reduction:
Breast reduction or reduction mammaplasty reduces the size and shape of female breasts by removing excess tissue and skin. The procedure can also involve repositioning the areola.
Mastopexy (Breast Uplift):
Drooping / sagging of the breasts is a common problem following substantial weight loss, pregnancy or simply the ageing process. Mastopexy is used to raise and reshape breasts surgically to improve their appearance sometimes using implants.

HAIR TRANSPLANTATION:-  is a permanent solution to hair loss.worlds most advanced treatment with latest medical technology available in UK now.The regrowth in most patients can b pushed to 100%.
